I'm not picking sides on any forum. However I'm glad he stopped deleteing everything he didn't like and is openly disscussing it with everyone. Even though he is telling little lies here and there at least he's comunicating instead of deleting. I do feel he is much more in the wrong than Bob because of how he freaked out. He should have discussed it out like an adult and not just go ap sh*t on everyone.

Too bad this happened. I got a call from a fellow heli flyer, whom I had been helping lately, saying that he is coming over for help because he couldn't find any of finless's videos anywhere because they had all been deleted. I then checked at RR and lo and behold, he was correct. They were all deleted by Mark.

That's a shame. Lot's of my friends use his videos and makes everything easier for me to help them. Glad to see Finless back up and at it again! I'm sure there will be plenty more users migrating from RR to HeliFreak because of what happened between Finless and RR.

I made mention on RR of thefollowing should have been considered.
That maybe the suppliers if they want a vid done and the majority in consultation with BoB and Will agree, then after, the item is Auctioned or used as a prize for a competition , procedes of auction donated to a charity or Cancer reasearch etc.

Possible what are your thoughts?

Well, at least MR himself is giving his view of the story in the "What happened" thread now. It would be even better if he gave Bob the opportunity to defend himself. All you see now is a lot of rumour without fact.

Anyway, at least something good came out of the matter: I started actively posting on this board again and it seems that is a lot more democratic than RR.

Definitely more democratic and the people definitely have more respect for others. I still am so saddened by the whole thing though. This may have been about two people’s differences but I am afraid we all lost. RR was such a wealth of knowledge. You could do a search on just about anything and get many hits. There was close to 120,000 posts in the T-Rex forum, just under 2,500 here. There are 179 replies alone to the I have been kicked off Run- -Ryder!!!! thread here right now. Let’s take some of this energy and get back to posting and sharing about what this is all about, asking – sharing – and learning about build and flying.

I joined RR a while ago.. didnt post much really (never when I checked) I went back the other following a link to Finless videos... they are great they really help (I am a plank pilot but dabble in helis..)
So when I heard on Archeli (another forum) that your vids were being moved.. I joined up here and will now cancel my RR.

I was about to say that we have a lot of threads regarding the Finless move and rr and I think also we should get on with building this forum up to a better standard than RR.
I dont want put Finless out of the picture, but he must by now have trouble getting into his house. I am an avid fan of his and his work. By all means get others over here, but lets let RR go its own way and leave it alone. If we continue it will be to the detrement of us and this forum. We have learned a lot in the last few days, let build on that go ahead.

No... for as long as I have been flying helicopters he has. I started over on RR and noticed it then. No matter what MR does. He is fine with it. Never a complaint. I mean... I agree will Will (HF.com God) 95% of the time but we have had our disagreements.

Mark Ryders only motivation in suddenly being more "open" is damage limitation, he's trying to limit the damage he's inficted on himself.

He's done this MANY times, to many groups of people, you guys are the most recent. This forum (and others) was started as a direct result of Mark Ryder's actions in the past.

Just keep watching, all Run Ryder posts relating to this event WILL disappear, Mark Ryder WILL change history on his site by deleting all the evidence, it's happened before, it WILL happen again. His site will be/is populated with Neebies, who know not better, and will have no-one to tell them any different, and there will be no evidence for support, even if someone does survive long enough to try to tell the story. These neebies, knowing no better, will support Mark Ryder, just like all who came before. . . . . .until they get treated just like you, me, and everyone else who have left or been kicked off Run Ryder.

Run Ryder IS NOT the font of all Heli history, far from it, Mark Ryder has deleted so many people, and their posting history, that the data on the site is becoming more and more worthless with each passing day.

Do a search on this site (helifreak) for a posted I copied here when I left RR myself, it's titled "Janek's last post", then try that search on RR. . . . . . . . do you see it ?

OK guys, PLEASE move on and respect the rules of this site and get past the MR thing. I know people need to vent but there has been plenty said about this. Look at our rules, and there are not many but busting marks balls to the point of beating a dead horse to death over and over and over and over is not something we want here. There is plenty been said, to where anybody who comes here can see what happened from Bob himself and also a lot of you guys. It is fine to support Bob AND to be pissed as hell. 400 new users?!?!? That would be webmaster's dream under normal circumstances... this one being a bit different. I'm sure Will is pleased with the new users which certainly doesn't hurt with his advertisers - and I thought it a smart move to section off a Finless followers area as not to disrupt or alienate his current loyal members.

I mentioned earlier - yeah - I was offended with what happened for various reasons as all of you, but I was also trying to be mindful not to make Will sorry I moved here...

I see alot of folks that did move over are some of the same folks that were always quick to help me when I was stumped and supportive when some "veteran" know it all would flame me for either being a noob or just stupid. Yes, I fit into those categories, but geez, it's a hobby site. I remember trying to break into planks 20 years ago and the only type of help available was at a field where you usually got the know it all that tried to own the field - with the Internet, it seems generally you get a good group of people to share. So - here we are - we were annoyed we had to move, but what luck - Finless found a place and a nice one at that - that welcomed us. Let's try to pay the favor back to Will for that.

Well neither one is a crime, and I know you're not stupid. By the way, I don't know if I properly thanked you for pointing me here when I was clueless about what was going on during "the rapture" - thanks.

Incidentally, it may be that RR has or had a ton more T-Rex content, but let's think about it. No one was killed. We have the same bright minds and experience here. The only difference is that people won't be able to get all huffy and tell you to "do a search first!" - at least not for a while.

Shame past things happened, you've got my support from the Netherlands,

Even thought I'm only a heli flyer for just about 2 months,
I have been reading and learning over 6 months before that.
Also learned alot before and after my purchase of a heli

Even thought i don't got a Trex but a df036 the Videos are most helpful and I've dled them to my PC locally for future reference.

Hope you will keep sharing your knowledge with the rest of the world.
