At the team-raptor page the one person has a section about turning around the collective pitch servo on the raptor. He say this give a better mechanical setup.

I am just asking if anyone has tried this and if it works?

Yes... in the rappy set up for newbie flight you have the servo one way and link it up to the outside post on the collective. Once you get to the point you want more pitch throw, you turn the servo 180 degrees and link it to the inside post of the collective arm.

I would offer, set it up on the inside as noted in that site. You can dial out too much pitch throw at the beginning. If you dont start with it on the inside, you'll just move it to the inside in a couple of weeks.

I had mine on the outside post for about a month, then had to change it.

Put it in 180 degrees as stated and if you want you can limit the pitch in the radio you don't have to do it mechanically.

It's just a lot easier to have a mechanically sound setup with this method.

I have done this since first getting Raptors about two years ago.
