All 3 balls are at 13mm dead on. i used the arms that came with the HS56MG's
sorry guys but i am trying. this is all new to me.
see if these pics help. taken in stunt mode. i did it from both directions of the head. i also made sure the settings were right on in both NM and SM at mid stick.

Sorry which picture is which stick position?
I can tell center IO think as the 2 with servo arms level and all arms in the head look good. Some though look like other stick positions other than full high and full low?
Also the center stick position does not look like the grips are at 0 pitch?
Have you put a pitch guage on a blade and seen that you are at 0 pitch and also WHAT your full pitch range is? It looks like your probably around 12/-12 which is OK.
Where is it binding? e.g. is the swashout binding against the bottom of the head?

i can see where it is binding, on the flybar control lever the flybar control cage linkages are popping on it in full cyclic.
The stick positions are just as you see the levers, middle is center. top is full and bottom is -
i did all of this at center stick when i setup the head and yes i checked for 0 pitch. and when i checked pitch i was 11+ and 11- and right on.
and at full stick i am not hitting the head and at full negative i am not binding at the bottom and in full cyclic i have plenty of space.
I am afraid if i keep popping this ball links off i am going to start to ware them out before i even get a chance to fly it again. thus having to start all over again :arggg:

Bob,
I will get a pic of where it is when i get home this afternoon.
i did double check the 0 pitch when i was home and with the pitch gage it seems right on, but then when i removed the pitch gage and eye balled it, i could see it off one full turn for each ball link. so now 0 pitch is perfect. and 11+ 11-
but i will get a pic when i get home.
thanks for helping out.

Bob, here you can clearly see where it is binding. this is in stunt mode , you can see where the ball link catches the flybar lever.

at zero pitch put a pitch gauge on your blades. with the blades oriented front/back push the elevator full up/down and check pitch, repeat with blades 90 degrees to the heli (side to side) and check same for aileron. I'm betting you have more than 6 degrees. Just a guess.

I have 5+ and 7- and now when i check the pitch of the blades they are 10+ and 12- :arggg: :arggg: :arggg:
However when i was backstepping though everything the only thing i found was that when i did all of this i forgot to set my swash mixing back to 0 i had 55%+ on Aileron 55%+ on Elevator and 60%+ on Pitch. and my radio was setup allready to (read below)
I got these #'s from this http://www.digimemphoto.com/guides/backguide.htm
I am assuming this is the cause of everything? being i didn't have the CCPM at 0 across the Board? :dontknow
My radio is setup to the numbers from that DX6 setup page.
Should i take the CCPM back to 0 and start over? or even worse reset the whole radio? and start everything at default?
sorry for the headache. believe me i have a nice one right now

I'd reset the radio, download Finless CCPM2 video and setup exactly as he shows. To help convert from the Futaba radio to the DX6 have a look at the DX7 Video I did. It's in Finless Bob's Helifreak Techroom. Bob's CCPM2 video is exactly what you need to follow. You can do it.. :)

I have all of his videos. on the 450 and the 600. i cannot follow them 100% because i have the DX6 i feel i waisted my money on it :arggg:
wow and i thought i was bald before getting into Heli's
back to the scratch my head board

Watch my DX7 vid and it will make more sense.. Bob's setup just converted to the DX6 with 3 point curves. Trust me..it works.. I had a DX6 before the DX7.

I assume this binding you show is at full pitch and the right stick in a corner? If so DONT worry about it! You will never be there! I have my bird set up for MAX everything (pitch and swash) and yes there is binding in the corners of the right stick at full pitch. If you are ever at full pitch and in the corner with the right stick then your crashed man and you got a lot more to worry about than that binding :)

Bob, thanks man! yes this binding is at full pitch. in stunt mode. i just need to figure out when i am at 0 pitch and i check i am at 5+ and 7- and not 6+ and 6-
however i like your idea of using a cell pack for the radio as tonight i think i killed my lipo, down to 6v, i drained it very low and i didn't even know. , but time to upgrade my charger anyways and pick up a extra li po .
il let you know the outcome tomorrow.
Thanks again Bob and Jermo for being patient with me.

Just to make sure, you now that the flybar (pins) or what ever they are called the ones with link ball in the middle are two sided? on side of the balllink is a couple of mm shorter then the other and if they are put the wrong way it will bind.
You probably already know this but just to make sure.

When i am checking pitch this time around (and this is in stunt mode) i am getting 10+ and 12- how can i make it to 11+ and 11- ? sorry my brain is fried after a long night and day and could use a easy answer lol

wooohooo!!! i found it! it was all with my 0 pitch at mid stick! i was 1 full turn off on a ball link. and when i was trying to use the pitch gage to get dead center my eyes were bugging out, SOOOO i kinda used Bobs cheapo method of checking for interaction, i used my small level bubble to check for -0- and found it! one side was off. i think the problem is my eyes are getting worse with age LOL but stoked i found it! so now i am 6+ and 6- and 11+ and 11-

Bob I think my head hit the desk a few times  however i did get a small battery today to run my radio components without using my lipo. i learned my lesson  now hopefully i can save this lipo. waiting for my new charger to arrive next week. and picked up G3 today for a smoking deal and am waiting for the update to finish so i can go stick crazy!!
thanks for the help Bob

Hi guys, ive got a couple of trex's. One 450X and a 450 SE. If i spin the rotor head on the X it spins fairly free, however on the SE if I spin it, it doesnt sping anywhere near as freely as the X.
Ive checked the belt tention and this seems fine. Any ideas ??
Cheers.

Just a quick question here, hope someone can answer me, what pitch curve should I be having for the CCMP part2? Should I have 0% pitch at center stick?

Greetings from Hong Kong !
Thanks Bob. I'm new in heli & mine won't fly so well without watching all of your efforts putting in the video. Although I don't own a Trex, your info. helps me million to dial in my mini-zoom.
It's a shame that no one likes you in the RC forums in here. I must say that without your video & EHGB page in swashplate.co.uk, it'll be a much steeper curve to learn heli for me.
Thanks again !
