I am building a 500 ESP and was wondering if it would be ok to use the E-Flight Blue Battery connectors. Will they carry enough power/amps. I know deans probably will cary more amps but i cant stand how hard they are to disconnect...

Try some Dielectric Grease first. I have been using it for a while and works great! You can get it just about anywhere automotive parts are sold. You will have to reapply for time to time but makes the connectors SOOOO much easier to get off. :)

I use these deans connectors and have no problems connecting / diconnecting. Highly recommended.

I buy this connectors from hobbycity (http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=2116&Product_Name=T-Connectors_10_Pairs_(20pc)).
the picture on hobbycity site does not show the ribbing on the sides, but its the same as in the picture.

I like my connectors to fit really tight. Gives me a sense of security.

I use power poles - they are easy to connect and secure. http://www.rctoys.com/images/products/PP-15A_1.jpg

Deans are OK. I color one side black with a permanent marker. You also have to be careful when soldering to not push the female connectors out. due to the heat on them. One time I did this and because they were pushed out too far I shorted my battery when I fumbled to plug it in.

Yes, they will.. Plus the safety advantage that neither male nor female connector has exposed metal surfaces.

Don't like (HC)deans.... I'd several times bad contacts.

For me is the best (in your case): 4mm connectors (for the best electrical contact and easy to pop off)
