Hi. Have a look at the Heliboy 1023 thread in the Blade cx forum about modding the u/c using 'JB Weld'. I have a Twister cp which has the same kind of thin CF landing gear struts that plug into tiny angled sockets right at the back of the mainframe chassis. My sockets have broken off too. I'm going to build up JB Weld fillets around the socket tubes - at the moment its all sticky tape yuk! (See pic in my Gallery). Another idea I have considered, but not tried, is to make a polystyrene block about half the size of a match box and glue it to the back section of the chassis for the skid struts to stick into. What is really needed is some kind of impact absorbing fixture, like rubber bands, that will soak up heavy landing energy without snapping all the plastic bits....... Hope this helps.... Rick

actually yeah, there is...
http://www.helihobby.com/html/blade_helicopter.html
that is an aluminum frame, which i would guess doesnt break as easily.
and getting the belt drive tail rotor upgrade from
www.iconmicrodesigns.com pretty much replaces the frame

I have installed the upgraded landing skids on my CP and not had any frame damage since. It ads a little weight but if you have upgraded to Lipo's which I recommend anyways its not a huge deal, but without the lipos it is very sluggish. I guess if you really want something with tons of power though its time to upgrade the heli all together.
