I tried the paddles today, well actually I have 690 Radix, 105mm Radix on the tail and 4mm Super Stubz paddles. Difference was night and day not only is it quicker but it just feels smoother to me. Thing I don't understand is why. The Align paddles seem good and they are roughly the same size. The Super Stubz are shapped differently and probably lighter? I dunno but I mean a night and day difference!
I had to turn down my gain on the GY611 after switching to the Radix tail blades but the tail was locked in good still.

Can't go wrong with stubz, but it will fly great with the stock paddles as well.

Yeah - Nick and Curtis are doing it just for looks. Nick probably flew the FBL 700 4 times as much as the flybar 700. Daniel Jetsen flies a Logo 600 V Bar.
LOL
Seems like I rattled the bee's nest here. None of these comments came out when people said "no paddles are the best paddles". Funny how people defend the FBL solution.
No more OT from my side.
I tried to order Radix blades and stubz all round but could find a good store that would have had all of them in stock. I will give them a go anyway.
