I began checking around as to where to get the clutch for the MA Tempest. For the life of me, I can't find one.
Does anyone know where I can get the clutch? I know Rick's sells the whole assembly and I do not want the whole darn thing.......just the clutch. I also know they sell just the clutch for the Spectra G but do not have the clutch for the Tempst on their site.
Could someone help me here?
Thank you.

The regular clutch is 115-42 - same as the extreme.
FWIW - If you are going to replace the clutch, I would recommend you upgrade to the HD clutch and bell.

I have a heavy duty clutch and the heavy duty clutch bell already (MA 121-11 and MA 121-22) but the thing is it is too large and the side plate (8.18) will not fit properly. Would there be a problem running the clutch system without the plates?

Ray,
You have to take a dremel tool and sanding drum and enlarge the clutch plate openings. That is what I have done along with several others that have adapted the Heavy Duty clutch bell and clutch to an older Extreme or Tempest. Doesn't take much grinding on the plates to get enough clearance.
I don't think it is possible to run without the clutch plates installed.

Thanks David for the advise, as well as the other HeliFreaks.
I took my trusty Dremel to the plates and sure enough, the darn thing fits. Had a chance to also fly the heli this evening and was impressed with the performance.
Thanks again for the help guys. :D This is the reason I love this hobby!!
