With the holidays over things are finally starting to get back to normal around the Carr household, I found time to finish the 550 and get some flights on it this weekend. Setup is:

Scorpion 4025-890 w/14T pinion
Outrage 8S4200 batteries
Kontroniks Jive 80+HV ESC
8717's on cyclic
Solid G with BLS251

Headspeed right now is 2350. Getting about 4:45 of flight and putting back about 2900-300mAh.

Double-click on video and select "Watch in HD" for the high quality video.

Looks good, you are definitely not hurting for power.

What kind of blades are you using?

Nice flying Crighton, what cyclic pitch range did you end up using ?

Blades are SWE 550's. Want to try to SAB Red Devils but I wasn't quick enough when they were in stock. Pitch is +/13 and cyclic is somewhere around 7.5-8 degrees.

Excellent flight Creighton! Do you have any Eagletree graphs?

That is funny. I am using the Red Devils, and want to try your blades.

We've tried the Rotortech 560's, SWE 550, and Red Devils and Steven keeps going back to the SWE's he's really likes how quick they are to respond.
