Guys, I've got a Stratus on order and an OS91SZ-H p/p'd with Regulator and will not be using muffler pressure.
I've read the threads about having a vent line from the top of the main tank with no valves to below the main tank level. My question is - can you plumb a header tank into the system? Will the pump be able to draw fuel through the header tank from the main tank?

Yes you can plumb a header tank into the system.
But your not going to need a header tank unless you just must absolutely have the extra fuel capacity the header tank would provide.
The Stratus comes with and OMI ELD fuel magnet that will be used as a clunk in the main fuel tank. The ELD fuel magnet eliminates any need for a header tank other than adding extra fuel capacity.
So I would suggest to not use the header tank and just keep the plumbing of the fuel lines simple.
Run the vent line from the tank to a location that is below the main tank when the heli is sitting upright. Run a fuel line from the main tank to the pump. Run fuel line from pump to the carb with a filter in that line.

Thanks David. I'd just got used to having a header tank on the Raptor. I didn't realise the Stratus Kit came with an OMI fuel magnet (I just ordered one -new foam). The main tank on the Stratus is quite visible which is another reason not to use a header.
