Hi guys, I've been looking for a heli larger than my trex 250 but also smaller than my 450. The King seems to be the middle of the 2 sizes. My question is, can the King be set up to be a reliable hard 3D heli? I'm experienced with many other pretty good brands of helis, but just don't have any experience with Esky.
If money was no object, what upgrades like CF frame, CNC head, tail, brushless ESC and servos would be the best for this bird? Thanks

You just named most of the upgrades, save a pair of good carbon blades. Oh, btw, a good gyro combo is really necessary for anything other than loops and rolls. If you do all this, the King II is a pretty good bird for most of the tricks you can throw...

If I were to get one, I'd put some hi-end electronics on her. I'd use a Spartan gyro with a JR3500MG for the tail and probably some HS5065's for the cyclic. Would those servos work on the King?
Does Scorpion make a motor fitted for this bird? I guess a 35 or 45 amp ESC is well enough. Can you guys link some upgrades for her like frame, head and tail, etc.... Thanks
