You may have already seen it, but here is JK flying the Fury Ion-X.

It is hard to believe this is an electric heli. I saw Jason fly it at Mulberry last year and it flies like a 90. I would love to have one.

Jimmy,
The one Jason was flying at Mulberry last November was the original prototype of the IonX. The IonX has been refined since then and gone on a diet also. The actual production IonX is quiet different from the model that Jason demoed at Mulberry last fall.
Jason flew the pre-production IonX here at my event March 19-21st. Watching him and Eric Larson fly these models was impressive. Only thing you hear is the blade noise and the whirring sound of the electric motor.
To me the IonX seem to have as much power as the Extreme 90's

I would absolutely LOVE an Ion-X. The downside is after you get the heli you have to buy the batteries.
Overall, if I like Shannon's I will probably get one just so I can fly Sundays at our club field. (elec only day)

That is the coolest thing about this heli. I just love the way it sounds. It looks like MA sold the first batch and hopefully the second batch will be coming soon. BTW,Do you know how long the batteries last?

Batteries last a solid 10 minutes without fading during flight.
Is there a second video of the Ion, I heard (locally) that although the first video was impressive, there was another one where it didn't seem to perform as well?
