So how is it in comparison to the new Scorpion HK-4025-890?
Think the same performance or better?
Since i'm going 8s, wouldn't I want the 1910H/1Y?

Th 1907H/1.5Y is an 8S motor, the 1910H is a much larger motor and is design for 600 helis.

I'm glad you said that, I must have confused myself with their chart.
So how is it in comparison to the new Scorpion HK-4025-890? Same? Better?

I have the 1907 1Y and it is most powerful 6s machine I have flown to date

The 1910 is 1/4 inch longer and weighs 1.7 oz more than the 1907. The Scorpion 4025-890 and the 1910 have about the same amount of power. The 1910 on 8S has more power than the 1907 on 8S. The Scorpion 4025-890 has more power on 8S than the 1907 on 8S.
On 6S I would go with the 1907 over the Scorpion, the Scorpion is a amp hog on 6S.

I have flown the Scorpion 1390 and the NEU 1y, both on 6s. To tell the truth I liked them both power-wise. However the NEU runs cooler and gives a little more flight time.
The downside with the NEU is that it's a 4mm mounting config and requires modding the motor mount.

Interesting, What is the motor mount mod?
Is there one out there made or do I have to do some drilling?

Just have to open two holes on the motor mount to accept 4mm screws. Not a big deal, but it does create some thin walls. I am hoping Outrage will produce a second motor mount style for the larger motors.

You just have to drill two holes in the mount little larger, make sure you buy some M4x8 bolts as well (Neu doesn't supply any).
