About 15º outside on Friday. Had my wife snap a quick pic out front of the house!

Note my ghetto Tx mitt

haha, na just had a plastic bag over the Tx to keep it dry. the helis electronics actually stayed dry.

I was bored and had to get out of the house for a pack. the hardest part of those pics was seeing. The flakes were like the size of quarters.

Nice 3D flying, it seems like your wife had a lot of trust in you not to fly it over to her.

Yeah i'd be afraid of one those smacking onto the rx or something frying everything. Though, given below freezing temperature, how was the gyro holding and what kind are you using?
I don't think I'd ever fly in that temp due to plastic getting hard and having a tendency to break easier.

That is hardcore!

Temps supposed to be about 70 today here in So Cal and not even a hint of a breeze. I'll fly a pack for you.

Flying the 750 Align gyro, works great! I've flown it at 9º and it worked just fine.

Great thread and really cool pix, Mech.
I played golf in snow like that once in Chicago! Had to break out the "orange" balls" so I could find 'em!
LoL
