Futaba 12FG Batteries !! :S

Hi all,

I have just recently brought a Futaba 12FG tx and was wondering if the battery can be changed to either a lipo pack or a larger ni-mh pack.

Can anybody help ??

I have seen people change them out but I can fly all day with a full charge on my stock battery, Your stock battery is a 7.2v, 1700mah nimh.

I'm using a 2000 maH pack from Hangtimes (http://www.hangtimes.com/txpacks.html) (about 1/3 down the page, says for 12FG only). Besides the capacity advantage, the pack can be fast charged at 2 amps, uses the normal connector, and it fits perfectly. :)
