Is it a known software bug with the 12Z when flipping the switch into "Throttle Hold" that the main screen does not indicate the mode? I thought that on my 9Z it would display "Hold" when you were in throttle hold. It displays when you are in "Normal", "Idle 1", etc.. But not "Hold".. Maybe I've missed something!

I think you are missing to add that condition to your setup. At least in the 14MZ you have to add every condition, and once you select every condition you have to change the priority for each condition to make "Throttle hold" the first condition over normal and idle up.

On the 9Z it does display Hold when you are in the hold condition.

What's interesting is , Throttle Hold works in all modes.. Norm, Idle1 and 2..

I'll look into the priority thing you refer to.

The 12Z and 14MZ work much like a 9Z. Throttle Hold is just a function that can be enabled on a per condition basis. Most users add a new condition, name it HOLD, and then enable the Throttle Hold function in that condition only.

I'm pretty sure you want the hold condition to be the last condition in the condition list. That way it will override all of the other conditions. I know that with a 9Z the conditions are usually ordered...
NORM
IDLE1
IDLE2
HOLD

Isn't that what you want it to do?

Yes it is. But what he is saying. That when he has throttle hold activated that it does not say HOLD on the screen. It says Norm when he is in Normal Mode. Idle 1 when he is in Idle 1, Idle 2 when he is in Idle 2. When he goes into Throttle Hold it displays Norm.

I may be wrong but I think when he activated Throttle Hold in the menu. That he activated with the Throttle hold switch off and in Normal mode. That would be my guess to why it says Norm instead of Throttle Hold.

What?? I may be missing something here but when the condition switch is in normal the display says "normal". When I put the condition switch in idle up it says "idle up". When I put switch G in hold it says "hold".... Seems to work just fine.

CND hold is located on the Lower left side of the screen. If CND hold is on it says "IS ON" right below the CND hold on the lower left.

Your flight mode or Condition select is on the right side.

That is why I took the picture :) If you are not getting it to say hold you are not in the hold condition. Almost 100% your problem is the Condit. Select priority is wrong. 1=normal, 2= idle 1, 3= idle 2, 4= hold.

Hope that clears it up :)
