9257 won't plug into 770 gyro..

Okay so it's got this little plastic polarizing tab that won't allow it to fit in the pigtail on the 770..? Why would that be there? To prevent a Futaba servo from plugging into anything but a Futaba gyro??

So I'm guessing the pin orientation is the same and I can just trim off the little tab and all will be well?

just trim off the tab. black is usually negative and positive is in the middle. if you plug it in backwards, you won't hurt it, it just won't work.
