Has anyone seen anything like this?

Today I was flying this setup:
JR DSX9 (Known as the 9303 in the US) and AR7000.
Trex600E stock out-of-thebox setup 75A esc.
Hovering at approx 250 feet, 100 yards away and the motor goes silent for 3 seconds - then restarts. I have full control of the heli throughout. I have a DX7 user 5 yards from me.
Battery was ok (I have an onboard checker and low-volt alarm)

Two weeks ago:
Same TX with a stretched Trex600E.
different AR7000, CC HV85 esc. Different location. The same DX7 operator 5 yards from me.
Same 3 second break while staying in control.

The Trex600 has flown over two hours of airtime in the last two weeks (with the DX7 operator beside me). I haven't experienced any glitches except from the throttle issue on two different machines. The DX7 had a broken aerial last month and was replaced. I wonder if there is a chance of interference if the DX7 isn't healthy.

I'm really open to suggestions on this one...

Have you checked the condition of the wires in the TX? just in case it's that chaffing problem.
Maybe it's a noisey pot on throttle. ( I have had noisey pots before )

Thanks - the wires are ok. I'll just keep hoping!!!

Some Spektrum DX6i's have been recalled because of noisy pots
A Spektrum Flight Log may show if it is noisy pots causing a failsafe condition.
