O.K. Sorry I could'nt reply to this sooner, I've been out of town. For ANYONE wanting a printed manual who has bought a kit, just pick up the phone and call, we'll send them one...for free. 'Nuff said. The addendum was placed in there so that I could go over the nuances of high powered electric flight and the care and feeding of Lithium polymer batteries...I just wanted to make absolutely certain that I did everything I could to help modellers avoid problems. It was never meant to tell anyone they are a beta tester or that the kit is not complete. We are here to help, take advantage of it. If you have any questions whatsoever, please call.

thank you for bringing some levity to this Chris

Please start including the manual in the kits and the CD too....thats class, thats MA, keep that up. no one should have to order an instruction manual separately.

I have called MA before, baja170....that defeats the whole thing, like calling Ricks on a monday :D

I never responded to your posts Baja because you said you have never built an MA and I still dont really see why you wrote all that...we know that kind words travel farther but so do kits with instructions, no brainer or so I thought.

theres no way in hell I will let a factory or factory representative say those things to me off the bat, and I got the cold shoulder asking long ago despite how kindly I asked (and I did). anyone who read this thread very carefully will see I didnt become a real flaming asshole until a rep came along and lectured about the facts of life and defended his master instead of listening to my gripe....came here to get a problem resolved, sorry if anyone couldnt see that...its not even the issue anymore, I fixed it myself.

I hold pros/reps in higher regard than that, and that should be a compliment that I can still say that Russ is a pro, even after meeting many other MA reps with his attitude in well over a decade (that attitude is not instigated by me honest, I am not like this until a factory tries to tell me how I dont count, reps are factory "factory product representatives")

but he's the first one to say that he is willing to help after my bullshit.

thats class Russ, thank you.

concerning the addendum,

products go through improvements and customers will always be "beta testers", who is kidding, we are the ones who ask for the improvements after using them, we find the problems that show up that factories couldnt anticipate or even dream of, we shouldnt be told a product is good enough or to get over the way it is.

what comes in the box though is a finished product, those things arent going to revolutionize themselves or morph into something else inside the kit....so they should come with a good logical instruction manual and alphanumeric parts catalog, printable or printed, no customer should have to create a manual themselves from two separate files and piece the diagrams together with the explanations!

the cd-rom in my kit was a kit itself, and did not have a parts catalog on it, this was standard operating practice back when manuals were printed, all the Japanese kits include a kit specific parts catalog inside the manual as well....its been this way since the schluter cobra, why change?

I did make a remark in an earlier post that was in error, each subassembly step on this cd-rom DOES include an inventory, my printout didnt show it for some reason. my bad.

I like the cd-rom concept, its just not being used the way it could be.

thanks for all of your time, Russ, Baja, ChrisS, and everyone, I'm done *****ing.

Ill bet that the dealer you bought it from would have gladly printed you the manual and pictures if you asked. the manual is included in the kit it is just in a new format (cd) it is also available from Miniature aircraft as well if you ask.The tempests come this way as well. I do not undertand your issue as Russ . it is a fine machine and has a lot of new technology (manual included)
