I just replaced the clutch liner due to flipping idle up switch by accident - the clutch liner was JB welded back in and that is fine - now, I can't get the clutch to fit in the bell with new liner,
Is this typical, where I would have to shave it down somewhat or has the clutch expanded and need a new one - the clutch still looks the same size and never had this problem before,
Any suggestions, MA experts,
Thank you,

Don't sweat it, chuck the pinion 'lightly' in a drill motor and sand the outer edge with a piece of 150 grit paper until you can squeeze the clutch in, then checking frequently continue until you get the desired clearance.
I glue a piece of sandpaper to a squared-off popsicle stick to make it easier on the fingers.

Or......find a friend who has a lathe. The Minair clutch liners are glued in and fitted at the factory with a gap of .006" each side. After replacing them yourself, the right way to do it is with the lathe. You can do it as Wayne stated as well I suppose.
