Has anybody ever had trouble getting their starter/oneway startshaft to turn true on center. I have a hanger 9 starter with a Mavrick one way shaft fiited into the rubber cup. I tried attaching it without the cup right onto the starter motor shaft and the same thing, it shakes pretty bad. The non oneway works to start for the first flight, without shaking, but after that turns into a problem. Usually I end up trying to yank the non oneway out while starting before it catches. Help? Should I just spend $60 on a new one? Or is there some trick to this.

I had the same problem with mounting to the shaft. I had to back off 1/4 turn and clamp the sides down to get it to run true. Dont forget to locktite the starter shaft to the wand base, or it will not last.
