I'm trying Will. Got my duralite's coming. Do you like them Pepper. I was thinking of what OC bob told me to to. 94758Z servo on everything except the throttle and I'll put my 9253 there. Where did you get your Pepper?

Sweet I'll try tower.. Hope they aren't tweaking the price over there though. I've seen them for around $98.00 hoping to do a little better. My heli fund is getting pretty low still a few other things I want.

I hope so Matt. I am looking forward to seeing you go with all that blue stuff on your helicopter, and after you put those monster servos in. You are getting bigger.

Yea I went with the 4000mah duralite packs to to help with all the power I'll need. I've got a TJ pro comeing also. You said put my tail servo (9253 on the throttle right. Then put the new servo on the tail.

Boy Matt, you are really getting big now. The 9253 or the 94758Z will both work on the throttle well, with a T.J. pro in the super servo mode. You got a big engine in that helicopter yet? Your going to need it sounds like.

I hear all kinds of flight numbers with those li-po packs. The number that seems to be agreed on is 4 flights for certain. You hear numbers as high as 9 or 10, but the big guys all seem to agree on 4 flights and everything else after that is a guess. Just what I have heard along the way. Never have run those batteries.

Thanks OC I haven't either yet. Just wondering what it will be like. I remember reading some place not to let them get down below 6.2 V maybe Think it was in the other forum on duralites.

I have gotten as many as 14 flights with a 4000 mah Duralite Li/Ion pack on a Tempest with ( 3) 9252's, (1) 9251, (1) 9250. That was flying the batteries from a full charge down to 6.8 volts with a 1 amp load. The stop fly voltage is 6.9 volts with the Duralites with a 1 amp applied. The voltage does not need to get below 5.5 volts. Below 5.5 volts and the cells may be damaged and not able to hold a charge. Most of the pilots that I have talked to that are using Duralites with all digital servo setups get 8 to 12 flights between charges. That is with the 4000 mah pack.

i get about 8 flights with 3x 8311's 1x non-digital throttle servo( 4131?) and either 601/???? or 5000t/8700 and am still well above 7 volts.
