Just wondering if anyone has ever had the oneway slip on them.
I was going on my 5th tank of flying and when I was spooling up, I noticed that the main gear was turning but nothing else, engine would rev up but no spinning blades.
So I shut her down, took it on the bench, looked at stuff, turned the head with the maingear. Thought to myself maybe it was a fluke. Started her up, everything worked as advertised. Flew two more tanks through her without a problem.:YeaBaby:

It might be a possiblity. But the more I think about it, I remember the blades spooled up a little, then I hit throttle hold to check a radio setup and when I went to spool back up again, that is when the main gear just turned. Also, the main gear was spinning in the correct rotation. I just suspect that the oneway bearing just didn't hold for a breif moment. After I turned the motor off and checked some stuff, I think it reseated and everything was good again. Just was a bizzar thing. Just finished three gallons through her.

Was hattenin C?
I've seen something similar with mine too but it was becasue I put the sprague bearing in upside down. Otherwise, it's been good here.
BTW... You flying this weekend?

Mine has done that twice in 15 gallons. Just switch it off wiggle the main gear up and down, and it should work again.

This has happened to me a few times now. Starter is turning but engine is not turning over. I find if i push the starter in a bit harder it grips and also after the first flight once there is some heat in the engine it grips no bother. It was -1°C today so just wondering if the starter shaft shrinks ever so slightly when its cold to allow it to come away from the rollers in the one way.
