First 30 seconds of my flying day, the motor quit right after flipping inverted about 20 feet up.

Head speed was non existent.:arggg:

I got her over onto the skids though.

Total damage is about $90-100 since the blades survived.

So far the tally is:
Rear canopy mounts
Frame set
Servo case x 3
Skid set
TT gears, dunno yet since I haven't pulled the boom out, but I hear clicking.
Link set

It really is not that bad considering a 600 repair bill would be twice that.

Motor/muffler survived as well.

Ya man, I always say that.

I flew my N9 the rest of the day so I wasn't too heart broken.

Just bummed.

Ouch!, You gonna go for the carbon frames? How you like the N9? I'm thinking of going that way seeing as the Vibe90 SG costs an zillion dollars! I've always liked the N9, such a good lookin bird.

OH man helico, Sorry to hear that. Nice save from what could have been way worse. I ran my vibe outta fuel on sunday. I made it back to the field tho. I wasnt very high out over the corn field BUT I was upright. I have never done a "real" auto before. I just practice them a lot.

Um I dunno free falling with no headspeed from 20+ feet tends to do that =D

thats a pretty light crash could be way worse.

thank goodness for cheap framesets on the V50

on a T600N that woulda been a 300+ dollar crash stupid overpriced weak ass CF frames.

It was definitely a fuel issue.

I am going to spend the extra $$ and get some of those fuel magnets.

I will go through it when I the parts.

RH is out of stock on the frames so until they get some the Vibe sits.

Thanks bro

All my landings are autos. The vibe did this once before and I was high enough to save it.

Same circumstances, just higher.:thinking

Yeah, I have bought from readyheli too! They are usually pretty close for most stuff I have purchased. I just checked and ready heli is 40 cents cheaper for the frames then heliproz. I just figured I would let you know in case you were trying to get her fixed quickly.

I wont wait on one vendor to get parts that would drive me insane.

Ill buy from whomever has stuff in stock.

I tried HPZ, couldn't find them at all even with the JR P/N.

Your link doesn't work either.

Finding a part on HP is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Want a Vibe part, you have to search through the entire Vibe line.
