Align charger...

Just finished charging lipo (align 11.1v 1800mAh 12c) with align charger(the grey one).When i disconnected lipo i put it on my workbench and about 1 hour later it had swelled up slightly.Has anybody had any trouble with this Align Charger or lipo's.Would it be a good idea to dispose of lipo and if so what is the safest way.Thank you.... :bomb:

The safest way to dispose a swollen lipo like yours is to put it in salt water, use 1/2 a cup of salt per gallon, recommended are 3-5 gallons of water. Then put the battery in the water and leave it in there for two weeks, after that it can be put in the normal trash.

DO NOT try to use or charge it again.
