What kind of set up is best for Stratus for hard 3D flying ?
1. Fromeco Peerless Batts 2s2p 4-cell pack + Arizona Regulator
2. Duralite 4000 mah - 4 cell li-ion - 7.4 volt Flat - Redundant, 2s2p + Duralite Regulator
or ? ?
one more thing, can i also know what is the different with the Peerless batts and Relion batts by Arizona ?

You might have a hard time finding a place to mount the Arizona Regulator. It is a fairly large size unit.
2. Duralite 4000 mah - 4 cell li-ion - 7.4 volt Flat - Redundant, 2s2p + Duralite Regulator
Most of the Stratus pilots I am around are using the Duralite setup.

The Peerless batteries have a charge safe circuit and balancing circuit installed in the battery packs. The Duralite batteries have always had this circuit. The packs are wired redundant.
The Relion batteries have no protection circuit and are not wired redundant I don't think.
That is my understanding of the difference.

For the Duralites, the square 4000 2s2p pack fits the battery tray better than the flat pack.
If other's around are flying the Duralites, I'd do the same. It's nice to be able to use each others' chargers load testers, etc.

any 2s2p Li Ion or Li Po will have redundancy. its only the 2s1p packs that dont.

I have just jumped myself into the LiIon range.
Mine is the Fromeco 4800mah square pack with the Arizona Regulator.
It's actually adjustable from 4.95Vdc upwards.
Mine uses the Flag switch...i.e..pull the pin is "ON"
Haven't used it yet as the bird (Stratus) is still undergoing building.
I am running GY401/9254 and the rest is 9253

It easily fits on a stratus, heck it easily fits on a rappy 50.
