Yep and good luck actually getting it from what I have read.
The guy that owns that shop has a less than stellar reputation on the boards.

It's too bad really. There was one of his mounts just sold on ebay. Looked like solid work. Not much good if you can't get it though.

Here is another one;
http://www.aerialinnovations.net/
i have a question - why can't i just open up my Sony RM-VD1 LANC remote and solder a JR servo lead to each of the 3 functions (zoom in, zoom out, shutter) and then plug those into 3 available ports on my RX (zoom in: throttle, zoom out: Aux 1, shutter: gear)? i bought a unit from AirFoil and it doesn't work. as soon as i plug the LANC connector into my Sony R1 it shuts off my camera. when i plug the RM-VD1 sony remote in - it works like its supposed to.
i have read everything i can on hacking the sony remote to make it work but everyone is using eswitches or opto-iso switches with it... if i just solder the JR servo leads (brown/red only, no need for the orange) to the remote and then plug them into their corresponding ports on the RX - wont that just close the circuit when the appropriate TX signal is sent and be good enough to make it work?

I see no reason it would not works. The smaller and lighter the better.

Hey Guy's, please be very carefull with remotei, their is a lot of info about this "company" and Rhandal Sayat at a number of different forums. They are ripping of peoples money. Just a warning.
Good luck
i am purchasing the Aerial Innovations model tomorrow and will let you all know how it works out. talked to the owner (Pierre) today at length and he was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.

Yep you can do exactly that using angelos (spartan-rc) opto switch. You will need some fine soldering skills. Search RR for a thread on this...

tell your brother he's a jacka$$. I personally know someone who got shafted by Mr. Sayat
the Aerial Innovations LANC Trigger System (http://www.aerialinnovations.net/proddetail.asp?prod=AI%2DLANC%2D051) is BY FAR the best i've seen or used. this thing is professionally built by someone who actually knows what the hell he is doing. plus - the customer service was TOP NOTCH. check it out.
