Hi all. As per my post about the possible failing 4 in 1 gyro (no replies yet though :( ). Does anyone know if its is possible to use a Honeybee cp2 4 in 1 unit on my Twister cp2? its almost 1/2 the price!!! All the components look too similar to be a coincidence - like maybe they all come from the same factory in Taiwan or something and just get different labels on them for retail distribution.... Actually - just spotted an ad for one of those Walkera Dragonflys. My Twister chassis, and essential components look just like it...... If my Twister 4 in 1 is faulty (which it probably is due to early learning crashes) its gonna be expensive to fix - can I use one of these 'other makes' instead?
Cheers Rick

yes you can.
E Flight makes one that is reasonable as well.

I've got a 4 in 1 from a Honeybee cp2. I can take pictures of it if it will help you confirm it's the right part. If you open it up you'll find that one side is the RX and the other side is the ESC. My ESC is burned out, but the RX is fine. If you need the RX portion I'll be happy to sell you this one cheap. In fact you can try it before you decide if you like.

Thanks Spork, however the Rx funtion is ok, its the Gyro if anything thats not performing. New development with this issue today though, see my thread on twister Tail issue!!!! This is a fun hobby.............
