Hi guys,
Have a problem with my duralite, here is my setup.
Duralite 4000mah
5.1V regulator unswitched
3 Airtronics 94758
GY502 /9254
TJ pro/ 9253
My battery is completely charge and when I move the sticks the GYRO screen shows me a voltage between 5.0 and 4.8, if I left the sticks itīll go to 5.0Volts. I have tried a new Regulator but is doing the same.
Should I stop flying??
Thanks again.
Vic
PS. I havenīt let the battery discharged under 6.9Volts

You said you tried a different regulator with same results. Have you tried a different battery also?
Also I have seen the voltge flicker on my 601 screen before a couple of tenths. But when I have done the same thing with a Fluke meter plugged into the circuit , the voltage reading is steady.
I just check my battery before each flight with a 1 AMP load. As long as it is above 6.9 volts I go fly. I have used the batteries down to 6.5 volts with 1 amp load.
No harm is done to the battery as long as they stay above 5.5 volts with no load when checking.

Thanks David,
Actually the battery seems to be steady under 1 amp load, so I wonīt worry about it.
Going to check with another battery just in case something is wrong with the one I have on the heli.
Thanks again

Vic,
If there is bad cell in the pack. It will never fully charge to 8.2-8.4 volts. I have had one pack that a cell went bad. The light on the charger would never go out. Then when checking the battery with a voltmeter with no load, it would only show like 7.6 volts. With a 1 amp load it would show about 7.2. I could still use the battery and get 4-5 flights out it before it would need recharging. I did this while I waited for the new battery to arrive from Duralite to replace it. That is the great thing about the redundant wiring in the packs.
