hey guys is the regulator suppose to get pretty hot, not to hot to touch but pretty freakin hot??

I have never really checked my regulator to see how hot it is getting. It would be best to mount the regulator where air can circulate thru the heat sink. Do not wrap the regulator. The regulators heat would be determined by how much current is going thru it to supply the electronics. If you have a high current demand system, I would think the regulator would get fairly warm.
