ok guys, plug in, center and fly!!!! WWWOOOOWWWW!!! i am very inpressed!!! i really didn't think it would compare to the 601 but so far i think it is better. i have a 8700g on the tail.

someone said something about useing stiffer padding. what is the deal with that, i have the stock padding and it seems to be doing fine. i also have some of that harder gel gyro tape. do i need to use that instead of the stock?

Stiffer tape allowed us to run higher gain. Stiffer tape allowed higher gain at distances further from the mast at rigid mounting points. It worked fine with the stock tape but it worked at slightly higher gain (10%) on our heli with stiffer tape. If your machine vibrates the softer stock tape will give better results because you could get into drift with a poor isolation. A fine little gyro worthy of gain fine tuning if that is what you like to do. Many would fly it as is cause it holds so well.
