Is it worth it to use my 7C with G3, or does the G3 TX work just as good?

About the only advantage I've found is being able to use multi-mode. So two people can fly at the same time. You have to set the 7C on airplane mode, so you get no additional features. It still utilises the software programming, not the 7C.

Not true. If you want to disable the software radio, you can do that by changing the Radio Type parameter to Pass Through on a per aircraft basis.

Any programming is enabled in your radio will come through the wire to the software.

Thanks vitek!

I've been fighting all morning and part of yesterday trying to get all of my switches and curves to work on my 9C and this fixed it.

TravisWhy didn't you tell me that a long time ago. Now it might be worth using up some batteries.

If your radio has a RF Module in the back, pull it out. You don't need it to use your TX with Real Flight. Your radio won't use near as much of your battery and you don't want to be transmitting anyway.

Not to mention that you can ruin a radio or module by transmitting with the antenna down for long periods of time

7C doesn't have a module. Great Travis, now you talked me out of it again.

Arg. I knew that. Thanks for the reminder... Pull the crystal out of radios that don't have modules.
