Hi All !!!! You may think me a little out of date but I am still running ys 80's in my extremes. One is on the bench almost complete from a rebuild and the one i have been flying is where my question comes in. I am having a problem with top end power. I am now running cy 30% wildcat, enya 3 , 8.18 gearing 1800 rpm in idleup,1450 in hover and needles are at 1 1\3 mid needle and 1 on high needle. I was running the regular wildcat 30% and didnt have any problems when i switched to the cy i started to have a lot of bog on top end. rpm comes up fine good smoke but no power on top. hover is smooth and steady. hover at high rpm is smooth and steady. any load over about 8 deg and motor starts to bog. engine has probly12 to 15 gal total on it . Your ideas and or comments would be greatly welcome. Thanks Tom

Not meaning to be a smartass, but it sounds like the motor doesn't like the fuel.
Without hearing it, there's not too much we can offer but to suggest you go back to the break-in needle settings, and lean it back down until you find the sweet spot.
Give it a gallon, and if you can't get it, go back to the former fuel.
BTW, I have 80's in my stratus and a fury...
