2400 Fromeco Peerless packs work great. The 2800 flat packs from Duralite also worked well in my machines.

Roughly how many flights would you expect on the 2400 fromeco pack with that electrical setup ? I'm installing a very similar setup on a raptor 50 today. I'm already wondering if 2400 is enough with all digitals. thanks.

I'm running a 5.4 regulator on my system from Batteries America I believe. The Arizona regulator looks sweet, but I opted to stay cheap for the moment and spend only $20 on the regulator instead of $60.
As for the number of flights, with a full digital machine I'm averaging anywhere between 5 and 7 flights per charge. Seems that I'm able to get more flights per charge when the weather is warmer.

Kinger, that's great. Is that with 2400's ? I was expecting only 2 or 3 flights with the peerless 2400 but I don't have any experience with all digitals on anything frisky. I'll be overjoyed if I can get 4.

There might be something else quirky with my Evo 50 set-up, but I initially tried a 2400 Relion pack and found it to be tail-heavy. Exchanged it for a 4800 Relion and it balances perfect now. I talked to the folks at Fromeco and decided I only needed 2400mAh for a 50-size running all digitals at 6V, but I'm even happier now that it balances and I have twice the capacity. I get 6-8 flights before hitting the 7.0v no-fly voltage under 1-amp load.

No mine was tail heavy with 2400 Lipos. I switched back to 3600 Sub Cs and it balances fine. I flew it while it was tail heavy and never noticed a problem until someone else checked the balance.
I'm getting 8 to 10 flights under some heavy 3d. Relion 4800 and Arizona reg.
Balanced out great too.
I will never go back to sub c's

I was pretty sure it would take the 4800s to balance right. I had a cheap regulator and when my pack failed (Using a duralite charger on non Duralite packs) I got to reading about cheap regulators failing so I went back with the sub cs. If I had more money I would get the set you have.

Try a carbon tail boom and brace set. This helps the C of G with the lighter batteries.

I had a 5200 fromeco relion and just bought an EVo90 with a 2400 relion. Put the 2400 in the EVo 50 and addd some lead to the nose.
