Rick they are ready now for folks but Century is out of stock on just about all there canopys. Soon as they get some back in I will have lots of swift and Predator canopys available.
Jeff,
Far as I can tell the whole vibe issue is sorted out. I should have this swift in the air in the next few weeks. I will see how it goes. But lots of guys are haveing good luck with them now. They made some changes to a few parts to fix the problem.
Sure does look good though out of the box and it has a solid feel to it not cheap or chinsy.

WOW!!! I luv the yellow/white scheme, that would be very visible in all types of sky.
The blue is attractive but I am afraid it would quickly change to greay in most any sky.
Well done!! :)

Here's my attempt, but the paint is not sticking like I would.

Hey,
Here's mine. I just started getting into vinyl cutting and so making some sticker sets up is my way of practicing.
Not 100% happy yet, perhaps backing colour needs changing but it's ok.

kookboy,
Hey dude I been checking out your tech info on the emolis/ect. here and there. Thanks for posting that info up.
The prep is basicaly sanding the plastic well without missing any spot. This gives the "tooth" for the paint to hold on to. Then a good epoxy primer then your paint and clear. Holds up pretty well.
I am still trying to decide if I like the shorter landing gear you are running. But with the boom supports up it looks like it is supposed to be thats cool!
Coolice,
I think a different background coclor as you say would help it out but it will take a few practice try you will nail down some nice looks. Other then that color it looks great. I own a small sign bizz and the canopy painting bizz as well so i use the vinyl cutter everyday. It is a great little gadget. Dont think i could live without it. LOL
Thanks for sharing the pics guy there is not much out there yet in the way of Swift stuff so keep um coming!

The new V3 Swift landing gear is a good compromise between the lower Raptor skids and the spindly originals.
Kookboy,
You can also try a product called Bulldog Adhesion Promoter. It's clear and is supposed to allow paint to bond to plastic. I found it locally at WalMart.

Looking good guys. That swift is a nice size heli. Hope to see more flying at the fields soon and get to try one.

I think the biggest thing that guys need to see is the price of replacement parts!!!!
$3.99 for a tail boom!!!!!!!!
The rest of the parts are just as affordable!! Amazing!
They got the vibe thing sorted out and with parts priced like that I think it is worth the try.

Definately replace the T-Rex with the Swift. I added it up and the T-Rex actually ends up costing more in a crash (assuming the Swift canopy survives).

The plastic that the Swift canopy is made of is tuff stuff. Basically you could turn it inside out and turn it back rightside out and it would be ok. Super flexable. It is way cheaper then a Logo and cheaper than a T rex also to fix after a crash.
Very key things in my book.

I have a buddy trying to find parts for his Hawk. Century does not even have crash kits they have not for months. He is really discouraged, he cannot fix his heli after his crash. He has just about given up and goign to buy a Raptor 50 from the last conversation we had.
Can you get Swift parts? Are they as hard to get as Hawk parts? It does not matter what the cost if you cannot get the parts to fix a crashed heli. TREX's may be costly, but you can find parts anywhere. Is this the case for the Swift?

WillJames,
I am surprised to hear that your friend is having problems getting parts for his Hawk. All the parts I have ordered for them two weeks ago and last week were all shipped.

WillJames,
I got crash on the first order. But I didn't order any last time. Usually I order the parts seperately anyway because many times there are items in the crash kit that one does not need. Maybe your friend should try that.
P.S. I have found that all manufactures run short of items occasionally. I can remember when some dealers even waited months for booms from TT.
