I planted my Raptor yesterday. Inverted, full speed, straight down one point landing. Just from the initial assesment, it looks like it may be a total loss. Not much to salvage. Probably cheaper to buy a new kit. I'll post a pic when I get home....as if you guys have never seen a crash before.
Not many vendors sell the V2 since the Titan hit the shelves. Anyone know of any V2 kits available?

That sucks man :( What caused the crash? I don't think that anyone sells the v2 anymore. Or at least I haven't seen them. You could call ricks or heliproz to see if they have any left. If you're going to re-kit why not get the titan? Its just about the same thing with a few upgrades.

Sorry if the carnage doesn't look as bad as it sounds. Usually see a wad of parts that barely resembles a heli. Remember, this thing hit straight down hard, right on the head button. The main shaft looks like a bananna. The auto clutch was driven right thru the main spur gear, auto gear, and pushed the side frames out until the busted apart.
The root cause of the crash was dummy moving the sticks. I'm just starting to dabble in the world of 3D. Things got a little sideways and before I could get 'er righted, it hit the dirt.
As for upgrading, the entire head was "metalized", so was the tail. All that has been "downgraded". :arggg:

Boom,Head and Frame All messed up ,Flybar came losse and went in Tail 1st,Tail went up into frame broke frame and head came off HE HE HE HE ,All better now ready for Next DIRT NAP

Sorry to see you guys losses! OUCH!
Actually the guy (sorry I forget your name right now even though I know you from the event circuit :DOH) that crashed his R50 at the Chattanooga Event wins hands down for the worst crash. I don't think there was anything not bent or broken. He went in on the side from FFF with a lockout or some kind of glitch. That machine was incredibly destroyed, he even broke his servos and everything. Man the carnage was immense. :shock:
