Folks,
I am working on another of my projects. What is the maximum head speed I should consider using. This will be on a Predator Max with 720 or 710 blades.

I will be running electric. I am just worried that the head speed will be too high.

Hey jimmy
what were you running for the head speed at chatt. I think some where around 1850-1900 will work fine for 3D on the 710's are they rotortech blades.
Thats what kam is using for his Pmax's. But what ever feels good to you
1700-1900 is the range for most 3D set up.

I would'nt go over 2150.
I think Payton has been running in the 2000+ range
1950 would be my choice tho :glasses2:

At Chattanooga I was running 1850. The new engine combo I want to try will be hard to get below 2000. I personally don't like anything over 1900, but I am a wimp

1900 seems for me where my predator seems the happiest.
This also puts tail rotor rpm at 8,854 which the 601 seems to like better?
I know that you were flying the 401 and it was working well.

Good point about the tail speed. Version 2 may take a while.
