Okay so today was the first warm day up here in the NE. I took the Heli out, charged the batteries and hovered in the front yard. The heli (fourth flight, all hovering) is intermittantly glitching. On the second flight it did the same thing, I was using my JR PCM 10SX and a XPCM receiver and I thougth it was being hit. The glitching involves all servos. The heli has a seizure that lasts milliseconds. I bought a Spectrum radio and receiver, installed it and I am still having the same problem. I am thinking it is static electricity problem. I have read lots of threads about this. What can I do short of grounding the tail to attempt to reduce this and if I have to ground the tail, I need to know how I should Run the grounding wire. So from where on the Heli TO where. Thanks for the help!!

Any bolt on the tail case to any bolt on the motor mount.

Do you think the symptoms I am describing could be from static electricity??

Sounds more like a bad solder joint. Never had glitching on my SPCM stuff, typically the ESD problem is being experiences by specktrum users.

There are two threads on this forum dealing with this:

"ESC" and

"blown speed controller, static?" Lots of different options given.

Or you can use the forum search tool and type in 'static'
