I lost orientation practicing piro tictocs and was too low to recover...initial impact wasnt bad but it flung the receiver and the rest of the electronics and the motor went wide open...i had to chase it about 50yards as it beat itself to a pulp , flipping halfway across the pasture.

Left side frame will have to be replaced because it pulled the front canopy mount through its hole.Frames didnt break otherwise.

Dear God NO! :WOW
That was such a nice heli, and canopy, don't feel too bad, I put my raptor 50 in this weekend from a bad auto. Now the avant has a boost of parts on the way hehe.

Dang. All that nice aluminum too. The scratches and gouges on the head block and blade grips definitely hurt.

Hi Vance,
You might try what I did in the future. Take your front canopy standoffs and dremel a breaking point into them so you sacrifice the standoff rather than the frame.
Sorry to hear about your loss dude.

Sorry to see that, I do feel your paing though. Yesterday I was doing death spirals and working on coming out at the bottom into tic tocs. I have been coming out of the spiral upright every time but the last time, hit pos collective when it should have been neg, drove one of my Tempests straight in the ground. Parts went every where.
I have just observed a moment of silence for you.....

I had to walk about 200 yards to pick up the remains, it felt like going to a funeral.

Oh man, that sucks. I feel for ya but know what it feels like. My new Evo .90 was shot down and was a complete loss, well the gas tank and landing gear made it. :arggg:
