Black Sheep RC Sept 17-19th

Black Sheep RC will be hosting it's 3rd annual event this September 17th-19th in Piedmont, SC at our new field location. Come on out and enjoy our great new site. See www.bsrcc.com soon for details. This is a great event. All I can say is get you plenty of sleep before you attend this event. This event starts on Friday and ends on Sunday sometimes. The action is 24 hours a day at this one.
There is no reason to leave the field, they cook some superb food and serve it up for a very reasonable price. John and Wayne do an excellent job on putting on this event. I attended my first time at this event last year, I marked this one on my calendar as soon I returned home.
This is must do event.

I have gone to this FF for the last 2 yrs- it is great. The first time I went I had my R30 and could sort of hover. I show up w/ Tom in tow and their is the idiot doing what I later learned is called a CAOS- about 5 ft off the deck- the cool thing was- he had the radio behind his back :shock: . Thats how I met HC. :)

Tom watched for about 10 minutes (he was a planker at this point) and said "I had no f***ing idea". He was hooked. Then he buys 1 raffle ticket and wins a Venture 30. And look at him now.

It is truley a great time, and I have heard that it is one of the best FF in the country. I have only been there and IRCHA, so I don't have anything to compare to.

I would recomend it to everyone.


And, the food is great.


I know Wade McGee has a DVD of last year.

I am really looking forward to seeing all of you this year at our new field location! The place is even nicer than last year (for those of you that haven't been to it yet). I'm sure that many can chime in and verify that!
Saturday, a good buddy of mine, Brett Horton, who has a new company CopterViews, brought his equipment up from near the beach and we got some aerial photos of the site. I ran the camera while he flew (so the pictures are not as good as he can do!! :oops: :oops: :wink: ). I hope to be able to post these (when I figure out how). They should be up on the bsrcc web site soon.

I'm around Shannon, just been working a ton. We did get a killer DVD done for Blacksheep last year, some of the best stuff I've ever caught on tape.

We have been working to get every thing ready. Have over seeded the runway again so it will be grown by the show, graded and planted Bermuda in a big parking area for RVs & Campers.
I hope the the Lord will Bless us with rain for fast growing!! :D

Charlie, Your the best for offering your property for the new BSRCC Field!! It is one of the nicest places and most comftorable places I have ever auto'd onto. The atmosphere when plankers and Crazy 3D flyers co-exist in harmony is an example for all clubs to follow.

I consider myself lucky to be a member of BSRCC and I appreciate everything you have done to promote the hobby down there in Easley, SC!! You are fired up about the R/C hobby and it shows!! :)

Blacksheep events are great. Excellent food and plenty of drinks available to buy, for a great price. Any ladies or some men, there are restrooms on site. There is some shade but of course there will be a lot of tents.

Everyone from the Blacksheep club is awesome. However, I must say that I am partial to Joe and Henry. Cason, my baby, is partial to Doogie. Clint of course to H.C. How embarassing they can be.

Oh and yes if the ATL. crew comes it will be interesting.

Hopefully the Raptor Crashmasters from southwest GA can make it. Then, things will be even more interesting.

Can't wait to come and visit with everyone. If you have kids, bring them too.

you can fly into Anderson County airport, it's not but like fifteen minutes from the field, heck i live ten min. away myself, but however u get there, deffenitly come, heck you can land on the field, lol.
