Hi guys,

what do you prefer for the stratus the Proflex starting wand or the hex adaptor

i had been using the hex adaptor on my fury extreme but it spun off alot even when putting a hole in the start shaft and using loctite..

i see alot of the top dogs are using the proflex but i have also heard of the bearings in them crap themselves quickly..

Thanks in advance
matty

I tried the Profelx; not a big fan. It lasted 3 weeks. I would go with the hex adapter. I hav it on all of my helis. no problem what so ever.

Used a shaft for hex adaptor on my first Stratus and it worked fine when I got the Robbe shaft. Had the K&S shaft before. And the one way is crap on that one.

Recently bought my second Stratus and got the Proflex with it. It didn't have the adapter on it so I tried the Proflex. And it works great. Will not go back to the hex if the Proflex holds up.

Hi Matthew!

As you already got Crappy's nad I supose you dont want to have 2 starters/switch the schaft eachtime you fly another heli I'de stick to the Hex one...

Just take your dremel and do a litle flat surface on the helis starter shaft, blue loctite will do the job to hold the thing in place and with the bit flatened out it wont spin or anything els...! Using this method Sice I got my Fury (1yr now) and I didnt have to tighten or do anything since the day i've mounted it together :)
