I liked the $40 deal for the CNC grips and yoke from ReadyHeli better. Most everything else was metal already anyway. Unfortunatly, that deal is gone.

it's a shame that grandrc and helidirect are dropping teh Gaui 550.... at least Readyheli is sticking with us...

Helidirect is dropping the 550? Crapola. I guess I should have known that when I saw no kits listed other than the 200. Looks like allerc.com has Hurri stuff now too. They're good.

What kind of deal is that only $169 off???

Do we have confirmation that Helidirect is DC'ing the 550?

forgot who it was that emailed them and got confirmation that they would DC the Gaui 550... but yes..they are going to DC it... of course they will keep the outrage 550.... and hopefully the rotorworks frames.. maybe they'll see the error of their ways and pick it back up... such a shame to lose a good source like them...at least I got my plain white FUSUNO canopy... now to get it prepped to mount and then prepped to paint...it's not perfect though..and if I were to buy another canopy, I'd get the gaui type "B" FRP canopy...but it's not bad...and it's wider than the stock plastic canopy

Damn! Helidirect is local for me. I can swing in to the warehouse and pick up what I need; going thru the toll booth is the same cost as shipping so no cost savings. However I do get to pick thru the "crash and return" box. I may have to have a little talk with the guys....

If they get rid of the parts for the rotorworkz frame, I'm gonna spit. Just got the thing like 3 weeks ago. Hovered it once.

even if helidirect stops supporting the rotorworkz frame... rotorworkz themselves will still be there for you...

oh yeah... and stop crashing... if you don't crash the frame will last forever

I hope so. I don't want to have to make lower frames out of Walmart cutting boards like that other guy!

lol... don't knock the cutting board frames until you try them... I made a real nice custom tail for mine...

I thought $169 off was a good deal....you mean $129 isn't a good deal? Where are you guys shopping? What am I missing?

it's a great deal for the entire CNC head...

That's what I thought. Everyone was making it sound (to me) that $129 was high. At that price, it's almost worth it just for spare parts.

Who has the best price on a Gaui CNC tail case only?

FYI - I spoke with Charley at Rotorworkz and Rotorworkz does not make that frame. Helidirect has it subcontracted out and just uses the Rotorworkz name. If they were to ever DC the frame then Rotorworkz may pick it back up as an as needed (not in-stock) frame/parts set.
