I posted this on the dark side forum. Maybe it could help one of you as well. The question was how to get the antirotation guide out of the way when converting to CCPM.
You will have to drill 4 holes in your upper frame and, purchase a new swashplate. As long as you are up to that, this mod will allow you to use a proper length servo horn on the rear CCPM servo.
First, order this (http://www.flying-hobby.com/productShow.asp?id=1392) swashplate, when they are back in stock. Or, get this (http://www.microheli.com/mhshop/product_info.php?cPath=80&products_id=153&osCsid=c1343de9b4eae52a1a1dc59e853e70a6) one. I think the first swashplate is better which, may be why they are out of stock.
Now, move the antirotation guide to the front of the main mast as shown in the photos below. That should solve your problem. At least it did mine.

How do you attach the Balls to the servo Arms? Are they different from the ones that go on the swash or does it matter?
Thanks

MalBore the holes in the servo horn slightly larger. Use a spare set of balls and screws. Screw the balls onto the servo horn as shown in the photo.

MAlThe problem IS with the Helimax CCPM kit. It does not permit a long enough rear servo horn to get enough positive pitch. The mod I discussed at the start of this thread it designed to fix that.
In fairness, I must say, I have switched over to a TRex frame. As such, I no longer care about this problem.
The TRex frame does not have this design problem and, since it uses a 150 tooth main gear (instead of the 138 tooth main gear the Helimax uses) I now run 4s LiPo packs. Because of the larger main gear, I have been able to gear the motor down far enough to run the main head at about 3000 RPM with 4 cell LiPos.

OOHH Ok My Appolagies.
I was just putting Mine together and Noticed how short this rear arm had to be too.
I am wondering what if you were to make a anti rotation pin that had the Ball on the other side of the antirotation arm? WOuld this fix the Problem too?

The anitrotation guide just looks funny as hell on the front. Its a great modification if it works I guess. I'd get confused and think I'm flying backwards or somthing. Everyone at the club will look at it funny. Now I wish I hadn't purchased one, its in the mail right now. I will leave it boxed up for now, unless I can figure somthing else out. So theres no servo horn that will make this work with the antirotation guide in its original location? Recieving full deflection of +10 -10 in pitch? " How to get the antirotation guide out of the way when converting to CCPM". Whats it in the way of, only a servo horn? Is this a problem on all the ccpm mods for x400's/mx400's?

No No I mean Just put the Ball and Servo on the back side of the Antirotation Arm. You see if you put the Tail servo out on the boom you now have a servo space open on the back side of the Ant rotation arm...See what I mean?
