View Full Version : Would like to build a better tail for my REVO

Not real happy with the design of the tail rotor on my REVO. The bearings in the blade grips fit real loose on the bolts, bearings have an I.D. of 2mm (.078) and the bolt O.D. is .075....real sloppy fit on the bolt. In addition the grips have a lot of movement on the tail rotor hub. Looks like if the correct sized washers were used (would have to be perfect!) to take the slack out between the rotor hub and the bearing that it would work much better.........or does centrifugal force take care of all of this? I had a lot of vibration with the parts shown in the pics, and still have some with the replacement parts. Any ideas or suggestions? Would the tail assy. off of another heli fit? Tail boom is 9 mm.
