Would you guys give me some feedback on this pic. This was one of my first attempts using a raptor 30. I have attached the mount to a raptor 50.
It's lot more stable. thanks for your comments. Any idea of how high I might have been?

I'm seeing a focus issue. for some reason the image is not perfectly clear/crisp.
maybe the focus settings on the camera or a bit of vibration getting to the camera.
A good start though! I'm guessing about 55' AGL

Yep I would set the focus on the ground (manual) at about the distance you want then pop her up.

The blur in this picture looks alot like a vibration issue to me. It's just about equally fuzzy all over the frame. The house loks a bit less blurry than the rest though?
I can't really see any benefit in using manual focus. At least not when your desired focus point aligns with the where the camera focuses.
With my canon I deside on the composition, then set the focus point accordingly and fly up shooting as I gain altitude and move towards the subject.
This way, if you have a vibe free mount or enough light to get a shutter speed faster than the vibes you'll get a picture that is sharp where you want it to be.
Good first one though :D

As the blurr seems to be throughout the image I would guess camera movement / vibration. Do you have manual shutter settings? Try to go for the higher shutter speeds, larger diameter lens settings. You will loose depth of field, which I don't think is an issue, however you gain a faster shutter speed, less chance of vibration effecting the image.
Also what are you using to trip the shutter? This mechanism may induce movement in the camera as well. Do a couple test shots with the heli on the ground, not running.
Good luck & Happy flyin...

before going with faster shutter speeds try to find the source of vibration. One simple change may reduce your vibes by more than half.
