DX6

I just ordered the XTR and hope to use my DX6. Since it is 2.4 will it work? I'm a bit confused about the PPM/PCM thing. Any help would be appreciated. Also any tips on setting up and getting started?

I've used my Spektrum DX6 with Reflex and it works fine. The DX6 doesn't do PCM, it's PPM only so Reflex will have no problem with it. Just make a new model for Reflex, set it to Heli mode and you should be good to go.

One issue I had here is that the plug on the Reflex cable doesn't work when it's plugged all the way in. On my DX6 I have to plug it in around three quarters of the way for it to work. Any further and Reflex stops "seeing" the transmitter. I don't know if other DX6's will do that too... might just be a problem with the trainer jack on mine.

Helo I just got my Reflex XTR and I have the DX6 and I must say my jack is incerted all the way and it works fine.

Possible Problems why your sim Stop;
1. defective trainer jack.
2. unit not Calibrated properly
3. your system does not meet required standard. Try increasing video mem through bios setup.

Mine also works fine plugged all the way in. The only issue I have with plugs is the usb plug barely fits due to the shape of my computer case (Gateway). Did any of you guys get directions with your XTR?

I tried one, it only worked 3/4 plugged in also.
