View Full Version : DSX9/X9303 servo centering at centre stick

I've upgraded from a DX7 to a DSX9 and is setting up my 600n with the new radio.

I had to apply a small amount of subtrim to get the swash level with zero pitch at centre stick. Only a couple of clicks of travel adj. got rid of any remaining interactions. THEN somehow the next time I powered up the rx and tx the swash is not zero pitch at centre stick. I had to move the servo horns 180degs to get everything level again.

I've disabled the hover pitch slider before the setup.

This behaviour repeated it self again twice, which prompted me to write this thread.

Throttle hold is inactive and throttle and pitch curves are linear.

Specs are:
600n
Align 620
Align 2in1
JR RD921 rx

Any ideas?

sounds like you have it all right.. the pitch slider is the slider on the right of the tx towards the front.. yes, you need to disable it..
I'm a noob but I've rebinded when I set up my swash plate and it worked fine for me.. x9303
so you might want to try to rebind

Are you SURE that the stick is perfectly centered?

For setup, I use a 0 - Inh - 50 - 50 - 50 - Inh - 100 pitch curve. That way stick position around center is not critical.

maybe calibrate your sticks in the service menu ( see my other post how to enter service mode )

X9303 has a standard mechanical 'ratcheted' type trim lever. Channels 2 - 4 are digital trim levers.
DSX9 has digital trim levers on channels 1 - 4, includes the throttle channel.
