I have an Align Trex SE and im using a Futaba 6EXH transmitter and R146iP receiver.

i have the channels like this

1 aileron servo
2 elevator servo
3 speed controller
4 gyro
5 single gyro lead
6 pitch servo

in the radios trim menu i can only adjust channels 1-4 but the pitch servo needs a little trim to get the horn at 90 degrees to the servo or inline with the servo mounting holes.

do i have to buy another radio with one more channel so i can adjust the pitch servo or what?

First off try a mult armed servo horn and rotate it around 90 degrees at a time, one of them should line up.

If not you can use sub trim but try to keep it under 20 points or you get more travel on one side than the other. Do this on all your control surfaces and center the trims.

Do you have the left stick centered when your trying to put the horn on the servo?
If you take a 6 point horn and keep rotating it. It will get to a place where it will line up 90 degs.

Also is the SE eCCPM or mCCPM collective?

I run a 6EXH radio and there is no Sub Trim on that model radio. All of your Sub trim must be done mechanically. The radio is a very good radio, however it takes a bit more precise mechanical set up. I am running 2 trex's and both fly great- but just took more care in the initial set up.

By the way-- The trims by the gimbles are for flight trim only. I would not use them to set the horns at 90 deg.
