As the subject says, what things would I need to know if I were going to buy a used wc2 Tx? Any tips or tricks, or things I need to watch out for?

Really shouldn't be anything to worry about the transmitter. As long as it has not been dropped and the case is in good shape. I would think you have nothing to worry about.
