Today it looks as if I'm finally getting to grips with the vibe issue.
The tail appears to be the main source! Turned the gain way down, to the point where it was juuust able to hold the tail. -And as the gain went down the picture quality and went up.

Had no battery left to go flying, but here's a couple of the test pics. The first one at 1/250 sec and the bottom one at 1/800sec.

At least I'm finally closing in on the problem :)

chasing vibes with a front mount takes some time but once you figure out a system and dial it in it's golden!

glad to hear you're getting it figured out. I know how you feel. It took me 2 months of working every day to finally get a front mount system that is 99% vibe free

now... show us some pics of your rig!!! I am dying to see it!

I will get a pic of it Dj. It's not finalized yet though.
In the mean time, here's a pic of a gimbal I'm working on...

nice drawing! looks similar to what Jody is doing with his gimbal on the Windmaster. Cool design.

Your right DJ, it looks quite similar to Jodys. I saw a picture of his Vario Shark some days ago and noticed the similarity. -Hope he's not mad at me :)
Anyway, this is a rig that I've been thinking about for some time and I'm still not sure that the above is what I want, but I think it will be finalized so I can try it out.

I'm also thinking about an own design heli with a .120 or so two cylinder engine built solely for AP, but that won't be ready this year I think. I'll start the CAD-work soon though. But it will be a lenghty process to get it all right.
