Do any of you guys using LiIon Duralite Batteries use a C-Volt on your heli for batt voltage indication? I'm going to use the Duralite load tester between fights, but is there any benefit of having the C-Volt permanently mounted in a visible place (and showing the raw off load batt Voltage not Regulated Voltage)?

It is best to just check the batteries between flights with a voltmeter that has a 1 amp load. I personally will not use any kind of onboard volt meter. If your flying the model around , you can not see the onboard volt meter. So checking it with a hand held volt meter with 1 amp load should not be too much of a problem before each flight.

Thanks David.

Along with some other items I have a C-Volt on order but think I'll cancel it. You've confirmed what I was thinking. It's a bit pointless having an onboard indicator when you're going to do a 1 amp load test anyway between flights. I'd just be adding unnecessary weight to the aircraft really.
